How does Smart-ID work?
The Smart-ID app is used for key management. A private key is generated on the user’s smartphone or tablet. The private key is stored securely by the service provider and is used for authentication and signing. The app creates your public-private key pair when you register for the service. You can confirm transactions on any website using the public key, and the service provider can confirm the transactions on your behalf.
